As well as for visitors wishing to visit from overseas, we are also able to offer this service to riders from the UK who may wish to use one of our machines for a short period or a special touring holiday.

Rider Requirements:

  • Because of the amount of admin involved in the change of ownership, we do insist on a minimum booking duration of 5 days, but your vacation can be for as long as you require. (Discounts may be available for particularly long trips, so please ask).
  • All riders should be at least 25 years old, and have held a full motorcycle licence for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Relevant and recent riding experience with large capacity machines will also be required before we can accept a booking.

Please be aware that certain medical and riding/claims history may preclude our recommended insurers from being able to offer cover. This will all be confirmed on an individual basis before we confirm a booking for any machine.

  • We require a £500 non-refundable deposit to reserve a machine for you for specific dates.

Legal requirements to ride a motorcycle in the UK:

  • Current and valid driving licence with a full motorcycle endorsement.
  • Appropriate insurance cover. (We will assist with you obtaining a quote, and recommend you take comprehensive cover to include roadside assistance cover).
  • Current MOT. (All of our machines will be provided with a current MOT certificate).
  • Valid Road fund licence (Often called road tax). This can be simply paid on-line and is approximately £10 per calendar month or part of month, We can help you with this process.

Additional information:

  • Unlike other rental companies, we make no additional daily charge for the use of panniers and top box.
  • Crash helmets are mandatory in the UK, and you will be normally be required to provide your own crash helmet and riding gear to ride our machines. We assume that the majority of experienced riders will already own their own kit.
  • You may wish to bring your own navigation equipment if required. (Phone holders or GPS can be made available for a small additional charge)
  • A daily allowance of 200 miles is used to calculate our operating costs (To include maintenance and tyre replacement). Please note that there will be an additional charge of 15p per mile if the overall daily allowance is exceeded.
  • In the unfortunate event of any damage to the machine, if you do not wish to claim on your insurance policy, we would come to a fair agreement with you about the buy back value of a damaged machine when you return the motorcycle to us.
